December again already, funny how time flies when you are having fun.
For most of us in the West, December means it is time to start decorating the house for Christmas. However, being in Thailand there is no need to get involved with this, since Thailand is Buddhist, right?
Wrong!
Mot and Nit were over at the Emporium a few days ago and saw all the Christmas decorations. So now of course they figure that it would be really nice to decorate the house for Christmas. Uh-huh, yeah real nice...
Okay to be honest, I do rather like the Christmas decorations, and it does look nice and cozy having a big ol' tree in the house with plenty of presents below, but I have seen how they decorate most of the trees here. Rather than using only one or two colors to decorate the trees, here the balls seem to run the entire spectrum of colors.
Oh, and of course a multitude of colored lights.
Now, if the girls set up a tree using only, say, silver and red colors, and use white lights only, I bet I would rather enjoy the sight of it in the house. It is just that I am worried that they will go for the full range of colors.
Anyway, they were so excited about getting a tree that I didn't want to spoil their mood, so I'll just pray they will make something decent out of it.
