Well today is the big day; Saay is leaving for Germany.
Karl invited all of us out to dinner at the Seafood Market, one last meal of seafood for Saay :)
As usual the food was outstanding, and obviously the girls ordered enough to feed a small orphanage, yet managed to finish all of it. Where it all goes, I have no idea...
After dinner we all moved to Saay's bar, or rather to the bar Saay used to work, so she could say goodbye to her friends at work. Things got a bit out of hand though, nothing mayor, just quite a few tears, both of sadness and happiness.
I also seemed to detect a slight hint of jealousy every now and then, which does not really surprise me all that much. After all Saay has hit the jackpot as far as many of these girls are concerned. She has married a decent guy, who has taken her out of the scene and, while he is not rich, will be able to provide her with a secure future.
I bet that there was many a girl last night wishing for just this.
