Karl should be here the day after tomorrow and Saay is beginning to get really nervous. As far as I can tell all arrangements have been made and the wedding will be on the 9th, after which the both of them will be spending another week here before heading to Germany together.
Of course there is still the issue of a visa, which will need to be arranged, but Karl is confident that that should not be a problem. I hope he is right. Getting a visa for a European country does seem a lot simpler than getting one for the States.
I guess things will seem strange for a while around the house when Saay is gone. Still not sure how Nit will handle all of this though. She seems to be cool about it, and I know she is genuinely happy for her sister, but she is very attached to her sister. Time will tell I suppose.
I am debating whether or not to get a replacement for Saay though. It might make things a bit easier on Nit, assuming she would get along with the new girl. This would need to be a requirement though, and not just for Nit, but for the others as well. If we get a new roommate all of us need to be comfortable with her.
Anyway, Saay isn't gone yet, so this can wait for another two weeks or so.
