Normalcy has returned to Bangkok after a couple of hectic days of Songkran. And with it, so has the traffic :(

There were no motorbike guys around this morning, so I took a cab to Pantip. Took me almost an hour, half of which just going down Rajdamri!
Coming back was a bit quicker, but I still ended up spending almost twice as much time traveling to and from Pantip than actually being at Pantip.

Sometimes living in Bangkok is a major drag!

The reason I had to go to Pantip by the way was that a couple of weeks ago I downloaded some shareware game, Kyodai. I had forgotten about it and didn't play it until a few days ago. It is some kind of Mahjongg game, with a few other games as well, and it is *very* addictive.

Yesterday afternoon, Saay saw me playing and wanted to give it a try. Two hours later she was still playing and if it hadn't been for Nit would have certainly have been late for work.

I am actually rather surprised that she took such a liking to the game, since she usually doesn't pay much attention to my computer. However once she found out about Kyodai I was having a hard time getting her off of it.
So, I figured I install it on my old machine, but since I only had one monitor using the old machine would be a bit difficult. As a result, I just came back from Pantip with a new monitor.

I'm now considering setting the machine up to use the Internet as well. Might be useful for the girls, and means they don't need to bug me when they want to send email.
