What is it with bad news? It always seems to pile up, doesn't it?
Daeng found out that some of the nude pictures taken a few months ago have appeared on the 'Net!
She is beyond comforting and has been crying practically non-stop since finding out yesterday. She cannot comprehend why this guy, who she trusted, would do something like this, and she is terrified that someone she knows, especially her family, will see them.
I have tried explaining that the chances of this are very slim (the pics are inside a paysite and her parents are rice farmers), but it seems of little comfort to her. After all one of her friends saw them, so why couldn't someone else? Someone who does not know she works in a bar.
With sadness though, anger has started to seep in as well and I think that this guy had better not show his face around here anytime soon. Daeng is adamant about hunting him down and making him pay. How I don't know, but I can imagine....
While I used to be rather indifferent about pictures of bargirls online, my opinion has changed drastically after seeing first-hand the distress it can cause. Sure nobody the girl knows may ever find out, but if just the fact that pictures this private are out there for everyone to see is already reason enough to cause a girl to fall apart then that to me is more than reason enough to never post such pictures online. I can only hope that others will do the same and refrain from posting pictures.

PS In an effort to do some damage control, I have emailed the webmaster of the site with a request to remove the pictures. I am realistic enough to know that he will unlikely respond, let alone comply and take them off. Still, I had to try.
