The girls got back from Sakhon Nakhon this morning, totally knackered after a 12+ hour trip. Luckily they did not bring any mystery meat this time :)

Anyway, Saay got all the paperwork she needs so we can get her a passport in the next few days.

And... her parents figured that she needs to be 'married' before leaving for big, scary farangland. So, it looks like we might have a nice party on our hands :) Saay now just needs to convince Karl of the plans, but I don't see any problems there.

Might be an interesting experience as well, since I have never been to a traditional Thai wedding. I imagine the food will be abundant, and the booze will flow freely. My kinda party :) Not certain if I would enjoy a 12 hour bus ride though. Better find out if there is an airport in the area.
