A friend of mine came up from Pattaya yesterday and we had a nice, fairly quiet evening out. He doesn't drink (guess nobody's perfect, right? :), which meant I could keep my intake of the amber fluid in check a bit as well.
We started the evening enjoying the excellent buffet at Warbler's, before heading into the plaza. We briefly considered having a drink at Busstop, but the non-airconness of the place dissuaded us.
Hit the Nana home bar, but didn't talk to either of the girls. Didn't see Nit, and Saay seemed to enjoy the attention she got from one of the customers.
No big deal, plenty of other nice girls around :)
While we had a great time, Nigel wanted to check out Cowboy as well, so off we went. Again the home bar first. No Fon, but Daeng was still there, and she took a bit of a liking to Nigel. She convinced him that if he would pay her barfine, he could sleep in a nice bed tonight instead of on the couch. Nigel did not need much convincing :)
So, while Daeng was off to change we paid up and moved on to the next bar (Daeng knew where we were going and caught up later). Had another beer there, and found myself a nice date as well.
Picked up some food on the way back, and had a pleasant night with my new friend. She's still here btw and we may end up going out on a 'double date' tonight. No confirmed plans yet though.
