With yesterday being the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, the girls all stayed home.

We had quite a nice evening, starting with several hundred Baht worth of KFC, as well as some som tam from the lady down the soi :)

With all of us together for an evening it gave Mot the chance to find out more about the rest of us, and us the chance to find out about her. Quite some in-depth conversations to be honest, with the girls talking about some of the problems they have ran into while working.

It seems that there is both a lot of camaraderie amongst the girls, as well as a lot of rivalry and stealing from 'locker rooms' is not at all uncommon. I was even told that some girls, and mamasans, are not above resorting to extortion. Luckily none of the girls had ever been on the receiving end of this.

All of them also feared running into customers who turn violent. Fon related a story that a girl she used to work with had gone back to the hotel with a customer, finding 3 more guys in the room. All 4 guys then raped her and kicked her out of the room, tossing 500 Baht on the floor next to her.
My asking if she had reported it to the police was answered with 4 wry smiles. The police are mostly not an option for bargirls.

Not certain what I would do if this happened to one of my girls, but I would almost certainly try to get some justice. I am rather old school when it comes to this kind of stuff, eye for an eye.

Besides these major issues, it seemed that the girls were also none to fond of customers that took liberties, like fondling their tits, grabbing their ass or worse, after having bought them a drink. The girls were very clear that buying them a drink should, in their eyes, not be an open invitation to grope. Many customers, unfortunately, see this differently though.

All in all a pretty insightful evening.
