My name is John, an American living in Bangkok making a living on the web. I have a nice, big apartment on lower Sukhumvit, which I share with 4 bargirls. Yes, you read that correctly.
As can be expected there is almost always something funny, sad, crazy, or just plain weird going on here. Which is why I am writing this diary.
To tell everything that has led up to this arrangement will take a bit too much time, but I guess I should give you some background info.
I'm a gentleman (well most of the time anyway ;) so I suppose I'll start with some background on the ladies.
The youngest of the bunch is Daeng, only 19 and an absolute stunner. She will no doubt break plenty of hearts whenever she decides which of her boyfriends she will marry.
Fon is her roommate, as wild as they come. She is like a dark whirlwind blowing through life.
The other room is shared by the sisters, Nit and Saay. Both of them work in a Nana bar, Nit as a dancer and Saay as a waitress. Nit is still a very innocent and lively girl, even though she 22 and has been 'working' for over a year. Her sister, though, has had to deal with a bit more hardship (husband running out after their son was born) and it has left some emotional scars. Smart as a tack though.
Guess that will do for today, and I'll tell you about some of the rules we have to keep things from blowing up next time.

Oh, one last thing, all names (including mine) are fictitious, and don't bother asking me about where the girls work. While they don't mind me writing about our lives, some things need to stay private.
