Palatkik
The Wizard Of Lies [2017] Good lead acting carries off the sociopath Madoff Ponzi fraud story. Worth watching.

radioman
Youth (2015) Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel Stunning scenery Fantastic imagery But you need to be open to it. This is no in your face wham bam of a blockbuster. It's a movie! Be sure to watch the 1080 version on a big enough screen. Enjoy. Caine (and Keitel) are like wine, just get better with age. Not a lot of people know that!
Coss
Berlin Syndrome (2017) - Starts out as film, that some young lady film students might make, about an Aussie girl holidaying in Berlin on her own. But don't turn it off! Gets quite absorbing with the boy she meets turning out to be something quite disturbing. Google if you want the plot/spoilers. Worth a watch. Ghost in the Shell (2017) - Entertaining for the shots in which Scarlett Johansson is dressed (CGI) in a thin latex like skin, no nips or pubes but worth a look. I thought this film was a bit "BladeRunner with a chick" but Anime fans may differ. Worth a look. Also it's pleasing to see that in the future they still have cars and dispute resolution is still accomplished with fists, handguns and hollywood kung fu. Palatkik
The Founder [2016] Biopic of Ray Krok, founder of the McDonalds hamburger franchise at first seems dull with the usual Hollywood clichéd Americana imagery from the 1950’s but engages with a good lead performance and the confrontational scenes with the McDonalds brothers. Palatkik
Mr Holmes [2015] Sherlock with dementia! The screenplay is so dull the fine acting cannot lift it.
Palatkik
The Homesman [2014] Excellent old-fashioned high plains western that does not disappoint with some unexpected surprises and unusual oddball characters. Palatkik
Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist [2014] Somewhat inconclusive documentary film on the rise and fall of the Italian cyclist during the height of the sports doping scandal. Cyclists will go for it!
