Boo Radley
I came across the following Luk Thung? music website with real media files (requires RealPlayer). Music from Amporn Waenphet, Damrong Wongtorn, Fon Thonsunthorn, Gasem Khomsan, Monsit Khamsoi, Samrahn Boonlahp and Suwanah Chanahgahn. http://www.sure-audio.com/sample/

thai3
I have been using this site for a year. One thing which I really appreciate about sure audio is that they are about the only ones, no THE only thai recording company who reply to emails. I saw Fon as a result of an email from them. Emails to Grammy, PGM, Master tape etc just get ignored. When I was in BKK in Aug I got a thai to phone master tape to ask them about Jintara concerts, they said there were no concerts, found out from the internet there was one almost every night in Bangkok and went to six! Sure even gave me the names of some lukthung magazines, sadly now discontinued. Other good sites are luktungfm.com and veteethai.com. If you have not seen the movie mon pleng luktung fm I can recommend it, if only for the concert at the end,- heavenly. I don't miss the girls and nightlife much any longer, but I miss the music a lot-peter
Boo Radley
Hi Peter, Yes, I used to listen to Luk Thung FM live over the internet with RealPlayer at www.ikazz.com, although recently I think its gone off air, with no explanation. Shame about that.
thai3
Yes you are right about it being off air, I did mean to visit the studio and ask them about it, but as with so many other things when over there never got round to it. If you are interested in recent luktung films they are available from www.thainetcity.-peter
