Flashermac
There have been stories of Chinese tourists behaving badly overseas and on airplanes; now, they have their sights set on Antarctica. Some Chinese tourists, described as “eager to touch everything†in Antarctica, are demonstrating “very disappointing behaviour,†said one Chinese news photographer. Some were chasing penguins and charging into their colony, completely disregarding rules to protect the birds, he said. A newlywed couple even shooed off several penguins for the perfect photo shoot. According to the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO), Chinese tourism in Antarctica has grown significantly over the last ten years. In 2004, only 37 people travelled to Antarctica; but by 2014, about 3,328 Chinese arrived on Antarctica’s shores, placing third behind American and Australian tourists. In addition to having a negative impact on the local habitat and wildlife, China’s Antarctic Great Wall Station on King George Island has been unprepared for the number of visitors. Qu Tanzhou, a director at the station, said: “More and more Chinese tourists are flooding in, and it disrupts our daily work.†Most online users are infuriated by the tourists’ behavior. “They are so embarrassing. Next stop for them should be Mars,†one wrote. http://thenanfang.com/chinese-tourists-antarctica/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_term=Autofeed&link_time=1425194542
Coss
The Chinese are coming the focus of citizen intervention in Middle Earth. After a spate of traffic accidents with multiple deaths, the locals have taken to filming on cellphones, the behaviour of tourists, driving on the wrong side of the road etc. They then stop the car, seize the keys and call the police. Whilst not all the tourists are Chinese, the media is beginning to accentuate the accidents with Chinese drivers. Some drivers are now being harassed by locals for parking inconveniently on the open road. This is not going to end well. BTW, middle earth's problems with tourists crapping in the wrong places is not with the Chinese, but with the European 20 somethings, who 'freedom camp'. That is, they hire very basic camper vans that don't have toilets, and crap anywhere they wish to, generally at the road side or in public car parks. These people are the modern day back packer, traveling on a shoestring, not camping at approved facilities.
Coss
Family kicked off flight as child refuses to wear seatbelt A stubborn toddler who refused to wear a seatbelt has resulted in an entire family being kicked off a Cathay Pacific flight. Hong Kong-bound flight CX654 was scheduled to take off from Bangkok, Thailand, but was delayed as flight crew asked the 3-year-old boy's parents to follow safety instructions. Refusing to listen to flight attendants, the parents insisted that their child be allowed to sit on their laps. While many airlines allow children under two years of age to sit on an adult's lap, children over that age must sit in their own seat during take-off and landing. The situation escalated quickly and passengers on the flight got increasingly angry, prompting airline staff to remove the family from the flight. Cathay Pacific confirmed to the South China Morning Post that the "decision was based on safety grounds, as the passengers refused to follow the cabin crew's instructions."The flight left 27 minutes later than scheduled. vid at the link

Flashermac
Thaksin even planned regional hubs within the country, with Chiang Mai becoming the hub for going to and from China. Turns out he wasn't such a good planner though. Swampypoom was almost overloaded by flights the same month that it opened, and Don Muang finally had to be reopened.
