Mekong
Where the 7-11 once stood opposite the market in Rangsit Klong 4 is now a pile of ashes, with ongoing situation difficult to judge if due to angry UDD supporters or the owner of the next 7-11 franchise 800 meters taking advantage of the current unrest to put a competitor out of business. Since K-Bank and BBL in the same area were not touched I assume the later.
cavanami
More gas stations are closed, no fuel! Did find a Shell station open (On Nut road, about sub soi 44) but a limit of 80 Baht for the motorbikes, which was enough to fill up my tank. It was gasohol, which I usually do not burn, but no choice.
Pom Michael
Surprised at how many roads are still closed this Saturday. Had to travel from Sukhumvit Asoke to Sathorn (Convent Road - BNH Hospital). Expected just to drive up to Wireless, over to Rama 4 / Sathorn and in. Nope - Ploenchit closed at Soi Zero, Wireless mostly blocked, Rama 4 from Klongtoey was closed and Sathorn around Rama 4 also. Was an adventure to get to the BNH Hospital but it was open. And traffic was back to Bangkok normal in many places on Rama 3/Ratchadapisek.
