gene1944
Heard that uob have started charging from 1st august I used a UOB ATM in Bangkok an hour ago and there was no fee note during the transaction or charged to my acct. I think UOB was going to start charging later either Aug 8 or Aug 15.
Pom Michael
Gene, You need to use a foreign ATM to get the charge - a local ATM isn't getting foreign currency changed into THB - that is this fee. cheers@
gene1944
Gene, You need to use a foreign ATM to get the charge - a local ATM isn't getting foreign currency changed into THB - that is this fee. cheers@ I know. I used my American bank Visa card and still no charges from the UOB machine and no added charges to my bank acct. I got a good exchange rate about 15 satang per dollar more than shown on the exchange rate boards.
